We Need High Hopes
Freddie’s three-run homer got the Phillies back in last night’s game. Unfortunately, his error opened the doors for four unearned Orioles runs. The Phillies ninth straight loss was by two runs. 1999 club lost 11 in a row. That streak will not be matched or passed this season! Gotta have High Hopes!
Homer in the first inning was the 14th allowed by Phillies pitching, one shy of the major league most by the Blue Jays.
