FIL Begins Today
While the big league Phillies are winding down their season before beginning postseason play next, 52 of their minor leaguers will be honing their skills in the Florida Instructional League in Clearwater, FL.
Players started working out today at the Carpenter Field Complex. Games will begin on September 26 and end October 15. While the daily workouts will take place at Carpenter Field, the games will be played at Bright House Field. Game times are 1 p.m., except for Saturdays when they begin at 10 a.m. No games will be played on Sundays.
